ISOMED II - Medical Isolation Amplifier

ISOMED is a medically licensed video buffer amplifier which produces a galvanic separation between two devices and meets the requirements of the Medical Products Law (MPG). Consequently, different types of medical equipment (ultrasound scanners, endoscopes) can be connected with regular computers, video recorders, printers, etc...., if ISOMED is used as the separator of the video channels.

The respective savings, which are made possible by using such a video buffer amplifier - as an alternative to the medical hardware -, are a decisive criterion in the context of an investment for a doctor's office or a hospital.

Our devices have proven themselves to be efficient and are regularly installed nationwide and internationally.

Types

    ISOMED is available in the following versions:
  • single channel version for Composite and S-Video
  • double channel version for S-Video and YC
  • four channel version for RGB and Sync-Video signal
  • single channel version for SDI-High Definition

Technical data

  • In addition, the two and four channel versions consist of a likewise galvanically separated RS232 interface as well as a galvanically separated switching channel (foot pedal).
  • Because of the separate protection of the input and output amplifier the highest EM compatibility is ensured.
  • The ISOMED II buffer amplifier fulfils the requirements of protection category 1, protection degree B.
  • The metal case is powder coated and the faceplates are produced from the synthetic material POM.
